Do you work with overseas founders?
Yes — local founders and overseas entrepreneurs are both welcome.
Can you help me open a business bank account?
Yes. Founders have come to us after their previous provider couldn't help with this. We usually recommend starting with a digital business account, such as Aspire or Airwallex, which you apply for online. Once your company is established, we help you open an account with a bank such as UOB. Either way, we help you prepare what they ask for, such as the board resolution and company documents. Each provider makes its own decision and sets its own requirements; a bank may ask a director to attend in person.
Why do you need my NRIC or passport?
ACRA requires the identification particulars of every director, shareholder and company secretary, and the Corporate Service Providers Act 2024 requires us to verify our clients' identity. We ask for them after engagement, not on the first form.
